Once again the holiday season has arrived, and that means there will be an abundance of drivers on the roads this year. Here are a few holiday travel tips to help you get to where you are going safely.
- Try to leave after dark, there will be less traffic on the roads and you will make better time to your destination.
- Just in case you hit heavy traffic, pack a bag with some bottled water and snacks.
- Be sure to check that you have a tire jack and tools in the trunk in case you need to change a flat. Check the spare tire too to make sure it has plenty of air.
- Be prepared to stop at several rest areas along the way to keep you recharged.
